Rowers Open Fall Schedule with First and Second Place Finishes

Club 8 picks up win at Head of Ohio

Villanova Rowers opened the season at the Head of Ohio on Saturday

Villanova, PA - The Villanova women's rowing team competed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as part of the the Head of Ohio regatta and came away with a couple of top finishers.

The Club Eight boat was able to capture first place in their division, while the Championship Eight came in second to BIG EAST foe West Virginia.

The rowers will next compete in the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 14.
