Villanova Women's Rowing Downs Philly-Rival La Salle

Varsity eight and varsity four race to wins

The varsity eight won its race against La Salle on Saturday.

PHILADELPHIA, PA. - The Villanova women's rowing team raced to two wins against La Salle on the Schuylkill River on Saturday. The varsity eight finished with a time of 6:51.3, compared to La Salle's 7:06.5.

In the varsity four race, the Villanova A boat won in 7:58.2 and the Villanova B placed second at 8:06.1. La Salle came in third with a time of 8:27.5.

The Wildcat rowing team returns to action on Saturday in the Murphy Cup on the Schuylkill River.
