MIDDLETOWN, CONN. - The Villanova women's rowing team placed two boats in the top three at the Head of the Connecticut on Sunday.

The "B" eight placed second with a time of 20:59.72 and the "A" eight placed third with a time of 21:32.56.

Villanova races again on Oct. 18 and 19 at the Head of the Charles in Boston.
