The Villanova rowing team will kick off its fall season Saturday morning when it travels to Rumson, N.J. to compete in the fifth annual Rumson Boat Race on the Navesink River. Army, Drexel and Rutgers will join the Wildcats to seek the Governor's and Mayor's Cup awarded to the winner.

Following a successful preliminary run Friday morning, the Villanova rowing squad returned to the Schuylkill River on Saturday to compete in four races at the 76th annual Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta. Led by Alexandra Yanoff, the Freshman/Novice 8+ placed third in the finals Heavyweight 8 event with a 7:51.320 mark.
There is just one event remaining for the Villanova rowing team before the American Athletic Conference tournament. The Wildcats will conclude their regular season this weekend with Friday and Saturday racing action at one of their biggest events of the year, the 76th Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta.
