The Villanova women’s rowing team competed in the Kelly Cup Regatta on April 22 held in Philadelphia, Pa. The Wildcats had five boats race throughout the day; Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, Novice Eight, and the Second Varsity Four. They had another great day of racing, improving upon their results from last weekend.
The Villanova women’s rowing team had another successful day on the water yesterday in the Kerr Cup Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa. The Wildcats submitted six entries; the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Novice Eight, Varsity Four, Second Varsity Four and the Novice Four. All six boats competed in the morning, but Villanova advanced four boats to the finals throughout the day.
After rowing conditions were suspended yesterday due to high winds, the Villanova rowing team was able to race again today on a beautiful sunny day.
Due to high wind and rough water, racing was suspended earlier than expected at the Knecht Cup. Prior to the suspension of racing, the Villanova women’s rowing team competed in four events advancing to the semi-finals from two events.
The Villanova women’s rowing team competed in the San Diego Crew Classic over the past two days on Mission Bay in San Diego, Calif.
The Villanova women’s rowing team is traveling across the country to California to compete in the San Diego Crew Classic on Saturday April 1st. The only boat that will be racing in this classic is the varsity eight boat.
The Villanova women’s rowing team were able to get back out on the water on the Schuylkill River for a warm Saturday in Philadelphia, Pa. Five boats competed in today’s 35th Memorial Murphy Cup Regatta.
The Villanova Women’s Rowing Team is making the short trip to Philadelphia to compete in the Murphy Cup on Saturday March 25th. After two straight weeks of training following a successful trip to Florida, the Wildcats are eager for another race.
