Connecticut Edges Wildcats 12-11 in Overtime on Sunday
Villanova fought back from a two goal deficit five times during the contest and outscored Connecticut 7-5 in the second half, but it wouldn't be enough to claim the victory as UConn edged the Wildcats 12-11 in overtime on Sunday afternoon in Villanova Stadium.

The Wildcats are still fighting for a spot in the BIG EAST Championship. If Rutgers defeats Temple tonight at 7 p.m. and Villanova beats UConn tomorrow, the Wildcats will be the No. 3 seed in the championship.

Villanova is set to finish the regular season with its best record since Julie Young became head coach. If the Wildcats beat the Huskies, they would finish with a winning record for the first time since 2002. If Villanova loses to UConn, the Wildcats would finish at .500 for the first time since 2010.

The Huskies hold a 5-0 series advantage against the Wildcats. The teams battled last season as UConn took a 12-11 win in overtime at Villanova.

Scouting the Huskies
Connecticut beat Cincinnati 17-6 in its last contest. Lauren Kahn scored a season-high five goals. Goalkeeper Shannon Nee was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Monday and holds a 10.22 goals against average and a.450 save percentage.

Kahn holds the team lead in points with 55 (32G, 23A) while Katherine Finkelston has 37 goals on the season.
