CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sophomore Susie Breaznell tallied six goals to lead the Boston College women's lacrosse team to a 15-4 victory over Villanova, Sunday at Alumni Stadium.

The Eagles jumped to a 6-0 lead midway through the first half before Villanova tallied its first goal.

Taking a 7-3 lead after the first half, Breaznell scored four consecutive goals for the Eagles.

Junior Meggie O'Neill and sophomores Caitlin Bracken, Carley St. Lucia and Courtney Legath registered two-goal games for BC.

Freshman Tara McKennett made 11 saves in net for Boston College.

With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 3-3 overall, 1-1 in the Patriot League. Villanova hopes to resume its winning ways when it returns to Villanova Stadium later this week for a pair of home games. The 'Cats host Monmouth at 3:30 p.m. on March 26 and Colgate at 1:00 p.m. on March 29.
