Philadelphia, Pa. - Women's Lacrosse traveled to local rival Temple on March 1st for the 2003 season opener. The Owls got the better of Villanova, handing the 'Cats a 17-6 loss at Temples Geasey Field. With the loss the Wildcats fall to 0-1 on the season.

Katie Komlo, who tallied two goals on the day, paced Villanova. Cindy Koza, Bess Hanley, Katie Mannix and Steph Haas each added a goal for the Wildcats.

Next up for the 'Cats is a March 4th meeting with Drexel. Last season Villanova posted 17 goals en route to a 17-10 victory over the visiting Dragons.
