Wildcats look to push for BIG EAST Championship

Xan Weitzel is in her fourth season with the Wildcats after joining the staff as an assistant to former head coach Jebb Chagan in the fall of 2010. Weitzel's responsibilities include working with the offense and assisting in practice and game preparation.

As an undergraduate at Boston University, Weitzel captured four America East titles during her collegiate career while helping the Terriers earn consecutive NCAA Tournament bids. Her 41 goals and 106 assists currently rank amongst the all-time greats at BU and place her third on the all-time career assists list. Following the conclusion of her senior season in 2010, Weitzel was selected to play in the prestigous IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star game.

Weitzel is a product of Moorestown (N.J.) High School and was inducted into the school's athletic Hall of Fame in 2006 after guiding the squad to four state titles during her prep school career.

A 2010 alumnus of Boston University, Weitzel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. She currently resides in Philadelphia, Pa.
