Xan Weitzel is in her second season with the Wildcats. She joined the staff as an assistant to former head coach Jebb Chagan in the fall of 2010. As an undergraduate, Weitzel attended Boston University where she was a part of teams that captured the America East title in each of her four seasons with the Terriers and earning an NCAA Tournament bid. She scored 41 goals and added 106 assists in her career, twice leading America East in assists (2009 and '10). She ranks second on the all-time BU assists list. She played in the IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star Game (2010). Weitzel is a product of Moorestown (N.J.) High School and was inducted into the school's athletic Hall of Fame in 2006. Moorestown captured four state titles during her time at the school.
