Lauren Sparks joined the Wildcat staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2011. As an undergraduate, Sparks was a four year starting midfielder for the University of Connecticut. In 2011 she was the recipient of both the Student Athlete Day Award and UConn Outstanding Senior Scholar Athlete. She finished her career with 30 goals and a place on the Big East All-Academic Team. Sparks currently resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
