Assistant coach Monica Manco is now in her second season on the Wildcats' staff.
Manco was a four-year starter at Catholic University from 2002-2006. In 2005, she helped lead Catholic to one of the best seasons in program history that included a No. 19 national ranking and the second seed in the Capital Athletic Conference playoffs. She served as a team co-captain as a senior and worked part-time in Catholic's athletic department as an administrative assistant to the athletic director.
Prior to college, Manco was a four year varsity starter in lacrosse at St. John's College High School. She also played soccer and basketball at St. John's.
During her playing career, Manco also served as an instructor, coach and youth league administrator for PlayHer Sports, an organization that sponsored clinics, leagues, and travel teams for girls' lacrosse players.
A native of Silver Spring, Md., Manco now makes her home in Conshohocken, Pa.
