2015 Villanova Women's Lacrosse Season Preview

With competitive non-conference games and a strong BIG EAST Conference, the Wildcats look for their best season yet

CAREER: Appeared in 30 games with 26 starts ...Recorded 20 caused turnovers and 31 ground balls ... Tallied 20 draw controls.

2016: Appeared and started in 13 games… Registered seven ground balls and caused four turnovers… Recorded eight draw controls… Tallied multiple ground balls against High Point (3/2) and against Temple (4/20)… BIG EAST: Started against UCONN, Temple, and Vanderbilt… Caused a turnover, picked up a ground ball and recorded a draw control in season finale against the Commodores.

2015: Appeared in 17 games while making 13 starts... Recorded 24 ground balls... 12 draw controls and 16 caused turnovers... Logged a season high five ground balls against Temple (4/15). BIG EAST: Started all eight of the conference matches... Saw best game of the season against Temple with five ground balls and three caused turnovers. 

OAK KNOLL SCHOOL: 
Three year varsity member of lacrosse and soccer teams, two year varsity member of swim team... Honor roll student all four years of high school... A member of the foreign language society... Awarded with the Dr. Yvonne Imbleau award, the high given award at Oak Knoll for the senior who exhibits the traits of a true exemplar of Holy Child Spirit ... President of the Oak Knoll Athletic Council... Received the "Most Improved" honor in 2012 for lacrosse... Received the "Most Valuable Player" award for soccer in 2011... Earned the 2013 Women in Sports Day Award... Was a six year member of Metro Lacrosse Club.
