Women's Lacrosse Season Preview: Wildcats Set to Hit Ground Running

Head Coach Julie Young and 2013 Wildcats Begin Season vs. Lehigh

Career: Appeared in three games while making one start on defense through her sophomore season.

2013: Appeared in one contest on defense vs. Marquette (Mar. 22).

2012: Appeared in two games on defense while making one start vs. Cincinnati (Apr. 13)... Also earned playing time vs. Manhattan (Mar. 23). BIG EAST: Made one BIG EAST appearance vs. Cincinnati (Apr. 13).

Edina: Earned four varsity letters under head coach Beth Neary, serving as a team captain during her senior season... Led the team in goals for two straight seasons and groundballs in 2010... 2011 and 2010 Academic All-American... 2010 Honorable Mention All-American and 1st Team All-State selection... Also lettered in tennis where she was a Minnesota State Champion... Named an Edina Scholar and graduated with honors... Triple A Award Winner (Academics, Athletics and Arts).
