Katie Craig, an accomplished former two-sport Villanova athlete, is in her third season as an aide to head coach Shannon O'Neil.
Craig was a four year starter on defense for the Wildcats from 1996-2000. As a senior in 2000, Craig started 15 games and scored a goal in her final home game against the College of the Holy Cross.
During her career at Villanova, Craig was a standout in both lacrosse and field hockey. She ranks second on the Wildcats' all-time assists list in field hockey.
Craig graduated from the University in May of 2000 with a degree in communication. A native of Rydal, Pa., she attended Gwynedd Mercy Academy before enrolling at Villanova.
During the 2000-01 school year, Craig served an internship in the Villanova University Director of Athletics' office. She currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Masters of Business Administration Program at Villanova University.
