Head Coach Julie Young and her team will travel to Annapolis, Maryland on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. to take on the Shipmen in pursuit of their first win of the 2015 season. The Wildcats (0-1) have enjoyed a week-long break after dropping their season opener to long-time foe Rutgers on February 14, 10-7.

The Villanova women's lacrosse team will open their 2015 season on the road against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 14. The game, which was initially scheduled for 4 p.m., has been moved up due to the incoming inclement weather.

The West Chester, Pa. natives are sitting on the stage in Jake Nevin Field House, joking about what the other is wearing and checking each other's hair before they get their picture taken. The pair represent a unique type of teammate that Villanova seems to have an abundance of; those who were playing together long before they became Wildcats.
Women's Lacrosse Signs Six to 2015-16 Roster
Villanova women's lacrosse coach Julie Young has signed six new Wildcats for the 2015-16 season. The recruiting class features student-athletes from two different states, including one from Connecticut and the rest of the class from New Jersey. The well-rounded class also features three midfielders, one defender and an attacker.
Mucci & Henderson Named to Preseason All-BIG EAST
Villanova women's lacrosse senior Jessica Mucci (Sevema Park, Md.) and junior Chelsey Henderson (West Long Brach, N.J.) have been selected to the All-BIG EAST Preseason Team, as announced by the BIG EAST Conference office Tuesday afternoon. Head Coach Julie Young's Wildcats were chosen sixth in the field of eight teams with 21 points ahead of Marquette and Cincinnati.
