VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova field hockey (6-9, 1-3 BIG EAST) will travel to Louisville and Indiana for a pair of contests this weekend. The Wildcats hope to snap a four game losing streak and also take a conference victory over Louisville.

Scouting Report: Villanova (6-9, 1-3 BIG EAST)

The Wildcats look to capture their second BIG EAST triumph of the season against Louisville on Saturday and a win over the Cardinals would bring `Nova a step closer to a second consecutive appearance at the conference championships.

Leah High (Green Lane, Pa.) leads the attack line with seven goals, while rookie Kayla Kenney (Warrington, Pa.) leads the team in assists with five on the season.

Goalkeeper Alex Diekmann's (Holmdel, N.J.) 93 saves rank second-most in the conference.

History vs. Louisville

Villanova is 2-6-0 all-time against the Cardinals. Last season, the Wildcats upset a No. 20 ranked Louisville 2-1. Olivia Maggitti scored the two goals in the conference win.

Scouting Report: Louisville (9-7, 1-3 BIG EAST)

The Cardinals fell to conference foe Rutgers last weekend giving them a 1-3 record in BIG EAST play. Louisville has beaten some tough teams this season, including No. 11 Iowa and No. 22 ranked Wake Forest.

Sophomore forward Becca Maddock is tied for fourth in the conference with eight goals this season. Amber Thomas has netted seven scores on the season, including the Cardinals' initial goal in the 2-1 win over No. 22 Wake Forest. Thomas scored the lone goal for Louisville in the loss to Villanova last year.

History vs. Indiana

These two institutions have only battled two times in history as the Hoosiers took a win over the Wildcats in both 2002 and 2010.

Scouting Report: Indiana (8-6, 0-4 BIG TEN)

Indiana will round out their season with a series of three home games. The contest versus Villanova is sandwiched between their two final BIG 10 conference games of the season.

Senior Morgan Fleetwood has dominated the Hoosiers offensively, tallying 24 points (9G-6A) this season.

Viki Green has notched 57 saves and carries a 6-4 record in goal.
