Philadelphia, Pa. - Sophomores Lauren Wuzzardo (Bridgeton, N.J.) and Dana Ramsden (Woolwich Twp. N.J.) were named to the 2008 All-Philadelphia Field Hockey Team it was announced Wednesday. This is the second selection for Wuzzardo as she received the honor following her freshman season, while this is the first time Ramsden has earned the award.

Ramsden provided the Wildcats, who finished their season 12-7, including a six game winning streak, with a dangerous offensive spark throughout the season. She tied the team lead with nine goals and recorded four assists.

Wuzzardo, who led the Wildcats in goals in her freshman season, finished the season third on the team with seven goals and had four assists.

This is not the first recognition the two have received for their success in 2008. Both Wuzzardo and Ramsden were named to the BIG EAST Second Team and the Longstrenth/NFHCA All-Region Second Team.
