No. 10 Louisville Drops Wildcats, 6-0

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 10 ranked Louisville Cardinals (10-5 overall, 4-1 BIG EAST) seized the advantage in the first two minutes and went on to post a 6-0 victory over Villanova (5-8 overall, 1-3 BIG EAST) at Louisville's Trager Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Karah Nall, Rachel Hollenbach and Nicole Youman all netted scores in the first ten minutes of the half, with two goals coming off penalty corners. Hollenbach tallied her points from a shot at the top of the circle, beating Villanova keeper Megan Goelz (Yardley, Pa.).
Hayley Turner capped the fourth goal for the Cardinals off a pass to the left side of the cage at the 16:11 mark, with the assist being credited to Youman. At half, Louisville held the advantage, 4-0.
Louisville went on to score two more goals in the second half from Youman and Nall, sealing the victory.
Cardinal goalie Erin Conrad is credited with three saves in the victory while Goelz posted eight in the defeat.
The Wildcats look to bounce back on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Indiana for a Noon contest in Bloomington.
