Kaitlyn Scholl returns to the Main Line for her second year as an assistant coach for the 2011 season. Scholl, a highly decorated collegiate standout at the University of North Carolina, is responsible for recruiting, practice and game preparation, assisting in player development and serving as the assistant director of the Villanova field hockey summer camp. Prior to joining the Villanova staff, Scholl coached for the prestigious X-Calibur field hockey club where she was responsible for the u-12 team while assisting with the u-16 and u-19 squads. During that time, Scholl also held responsibilities for teams at the USFHA National Indoor Tournament. As a student-athlete at UNC, Scholl was a member of the 2007 ACC and National Championship team where the Tar Heels finished the season with a perfect 24-0 record. The following year, Scholl was selected as vice captain and earned ACC Player of the Week and Marjorie Moses Schwab Unsung Hero awards. Scholl, a 2009 North Carolina alumnus, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science. She currently resides in East Greenville, Pa. | |||||||||||||||
