NFHCA Recognizes 14 Wildcats for Academic Success

13 members of the field hockey team named to the National Academic Squad and Erin Gorse earns Scholar of Distinction honor.

Career: Played a total of 71 games for the Wildcats…Had one goal and nine assists…11 points on her career…Finished with four defensive saves.

2016: Started in 17 games for the Wildcats...Finished the season with three assists…Had one defensive save over LIU (10/2.)

2015:Started all 17 games for the Wildcats…Named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll 10/26… Student Athlete of the Week…Finished the season with six assists….Had a season high two assists at Penn (9/16)…Finished the season with three defensive saves

2014: Started all 18 contests on the season at midfield with six total shots ... Recorded three shots at Fairfield (9/5).

2013: One of 12 Wildcats to be named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2013 Division I National Academic Squad ... Started at midfield against Sacred Heart (8/31) in her only appearance of the season.

2012: Appeared in 18 games with three starts as a freshman ... Scored a goal against Central Michigan (8/26) and registered three shots on goal.

Haddonfield: Four-year varsity letterwinner in field hockey and lacrosse ... Field hockey and lacrosse captain senior year ... Tallied 46 goals and 23 assists in her career ... First Team All-Conference Lacrosse 2012 ... Haddonfield Memorial High School Varsity Girls' Lacrosse Coaches Award 2012 ...
