KELLY DRISCOLL HIRED AS VILLANOVA FIELD HOCKEY ASSISTANT COACH
Villanova University head field hockey coach Joanie Milhous today announced the hiring of Kelly Driscoll as an assistant coach. In addition to her on field coaching duties, Driscoll will also serve as a recruiter for the Wildcat program.

Eleven Wildcats Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad
Eleven Villanova field hockey student-athletes were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Academic Squad when the awards were announced on Monday, March 23. Seniors Jessica Swoboda and Lauren Wilson led the Wildcats as four-year recipients of the National Academic Squad award.

Two Wildcats were named to the All-BIG EAST Field Hockey Teams on Wednesday afternoon. Junior Kayla Kenney (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) made the All-BIG EAST First Team while senior captain Jessica Swoboda (Hanover Township, Pa./Wyoming Seminary) earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Second Team.

The Villanova field hockey team (4-14, 1-4 BIG EAST) fell in a non-conference, neutral site matchup to the Quinnipiac Bobcats (8-10, 3-2 MAAC) by the final of 4-2 from Vonnie Gros Field in West Chester, Pa on Saturday afternoon.

The Villanova field hockey team (4-13, 1-4 BIG EAST) fell to the Providence Friars (11-8, 2-3 BIG EAST) on Saturday by the final of 7-0 after Providence scored six goals in the second half. The game concludes conference play for the Wildcats this season as `Nova plays a final, non-conference game tomorrow, Sun., Nov. 2 against the Quinnipiac Bobcats at Vonnie Gros Field in West Chester, Pa.
Field Hockey Preps for Final Regular Season Games Against Providence, Quinnipiac
The Villanova field hockey team (4-12, 1-3 BIG EAST) hosts Providence (10-8, 1-3 BIG EAST) at Villanova Stadium on Sat., Nov. 1 in a crucial conference game that decides the fate of the No. 4 seed in the BIG EAST Championship. The Wildcats will then host the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Sun., Nov. 2 at Vonnie Gros Field, located on the campus of West Chester University in West Chester, Pa. for the regular-season finale. Both games start at noon.
