VILLANOVA, Pa. - Saturday, May 6 promises to be a busy day for the Villanova Wildcats crew team. The squad will compete in two events separated by hundreds of miles.

The Wildcats Varsity Eight is headed to Syracuse, N.Y. for a meeting with the host Orange and University of Massachusetts. That race is slated for Saturday in central New York State.

The rest of the squad will be competing across the river from Philadelphia in Camden, N.J., against Navy. The First Freshmen 8 will race as will the Freshmen/Novice 4 for the Wildcats. The Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Four will also be in the water for head coach Jack St. Clair.

Following this weekend's activity, Villanova will prepare for the Dad Vail Regatta. That event is slated for May 12-13.
