The Villanova Wildcats tallied 131 points and moved up three spots to No. 22 in this week’s Associated Press Women’s Basketball Top 25.
Villanova is off to a 7-0 start for the first time since the 2013-14 season when they finished with a 23-9 overall record.
After seven games this year, Villanova is led in scoring by sophomore guard Kelly Jekot who is averaging 13.9 points per game and junior guard Adrianna Hahn who is averaging 12.3 points per game. Hahn has made a team-high 20 three-point field goals, while senior center Megan Quinn is the team’s top rebounder at 6.4 rebounds per contest.
Villanova returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 6, when the Wildcats travel to Fairfield for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
