Complete Tournament Game Notes

VILLANOVA, Pa.--In keeping with a recent program tradition, Villanova (2-1) will spend the Thanksgiving holiday on the road playing in a tournament. The Wildcats are headed for the Lady Mocs Double Tree Classic being hosted by Chattanooga on Friday and Saturday at McKenzie Arena.

In its first game of the tournament, Villanova will take on Evansville (0-3) on Friday at 5 p.m. in the first-ever meeting between the teams. The Wildcats will then play on Saturday in either the consolation game (3 p.m.) or the championship game (5 p.m.) against either host Chattanooga (1-3) or Kennesaw State (2-2).

Villanova has won seven of the last 10 Thanksgiving tournaments it has entered since 1999. The most recent title for the Wildcats came in the Odwalla Classic hosted by San Francisco in 2007.
