Sunday's Game at Monmouth Changed to 5:00 PM Start

Wildcats enter game with 1-1 record on the season

Villanova takes on Monmouth on the road on Sunday at 5 p.m.

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova University women's basketball team will travel to West Long Branch, N.J., on Sunday, Nov. 18 to take on the Monmouth University Hawks. Originally scheduled as a 3 p.m. start, the game has been changed to a 5 p.m. tip-off.

Villanova enters play this Sunday with a 1-1 record. The Wildcats defeated La Salle, 64-58, in the season opener on Nov. 9 before falling at Loyola (Md.) by a score of 49-47 on Nov. 11. Monmouth is currently 0-2 with losses at Rider (59-46) and at Lafayette (65-64).

Following Sunday's game at Monmouth, the Wildcats will head west for the Thanksgiving holiday. Villanova will play in the University of San Francisco Thanksgiving Tournament. Villanova will meet South Alabama in the first round on Friday, Nov. 23. Host San Francisco and UMKC round out the tournament field.
