BIG EAST Announces Women's Basketball Home and Away Opponents

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Big East Conference has announced the 2012-13 women's basketball home and away opponents. Each league team will play a 16 game conference schedule. The 16 game slate includes six home opponents, six road opponents and two repeat opponents where both a home and away game will be played.

Villanova's two repeat opponents will be Providence and Syracuse. This will be the sixth straight year that Providence will be a Villanova repeat opponent.

The Wildcats six home conference opponents include DePaul, Louisville, Marquette, Notre Dame, St. John's and South Florida.

Villanova will play road Big East games at Cincinnati, Connecticut, Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Seton Hall.

The Wildcats returns nine letterwinners and four starters from last year's team that went 19-15 overall and advanced to the third round of the WNIT.
