Villanova will travel to Princeton on Friday, March, 17 to take on the Princeton Tigers in the first round of the WNIT. The Wildcats enter play with a 16-14 overall record, while the Tigers are 16-13 on the season.

The Wildcats are making their 10th appearance in the WNIT in 2017 and their 15th postseason berth in the last 18 seasons. Villanova currently owns an 11-9 all-time mark in the WNIT.

Two Wildcats earned All-Big East recognition for their play in 2016-17. Sophomore guard Adrianna Hahn was named a second team All-Big East selection, while junior guard Alex Louin was a Honorable Mention honoree.

Hahn enters play against Princeton in the first round of the WNIT as the team’s leading scorer at 13.2 points per game which ranks 12th the Big East. Hahn has eight games this year of scoring 20 points or more (two games of over 30 points) and 15 games of reaching double figures in points. For her career, she now has 12 games of 20+ points.

In the latest NCAA statistics, the Wildcats are tied with Mercer University for fewest turnovers per game at 9.7. Villanova has led the country the last two seasons and in five of the last eight years in fewest turnovers per game.

Villanova is led in scoring by Hahn who is averaging 13.2 points per contest, while Louin is second in scoring at 12.3 points per contest. Junior center Megan Quinn leads the team in rebounding with a team-best 5.5 rebounds per contest.
