In the quarterfinal round of the 2016 Big East Tournament, the Villanova Wildcats fell to the Creighton Bluejays by a score of 57-48. With the loss, the Wildcats drop to 19-11 on the season, while Creighton improves to 16-16 on the year.

The Villanova Wildcats will travel to Chicago, Ill., this weekend to take part in the 2016 Big East Tournament. The tournament is being held at the McGrath-Phillips Arena on the campus of DePaul University from March 5-8.
Four Wildcats Garner All-BIG EAST Accolades
Senior guard Caroline Coyer (Oak Hill, Va.) garnered first team All-Conference honors for a second straight season, while twin sister Katherine Coyer (Oak Hill, Va.) earned the Sportsmanship Award. Freshman guard Adrianna Hahn (Wilmington, Del.) was named the league’s Sixth Woman of the Year, in addition to being a unanimous All-Rookie Team selection. Sophomore guard Alex Louin (Doylestown, Pa.) rounded out the Villanova honorees by gaining Honorable Mention recognition.
Hahn Earns Both BIG EAST and Big Five Honors
Hahn garners the accolades for her play last in wins over Xavier and Butler when she scored a combined 35 points and shot 11-of-27 from the field (.407) and 7-of-16 from three-point range (.437). She also tallied five rebounds, four steals, three assists and a block.
