BIG EAST To Host Inaugural Transition Game Program
The BIG EAST Conference will host its inaugural Transition Game Program Sept. 17-18 in New York City. The interactive program aims to assist current women’s basketball student-athletes in the transition from college player to emerging professional, both on and off the court.

"Summer Jam" to Return to the Pavilion on August 1
The unique Villanova Basketball experience known as "Summer Jam" returns to the Pavilion on Monday, Aug. 1. Members of the men's and women's basketball teams will take part in a "Fan Fest" at 4 p.m. followed by a men's basketball "Blue and White" scrimmage at 6 p.m.
Marquette To Host 2017 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament
Marquette University has been selected to host the 2017 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament, as the Conference's postseason championship will be played at an on-campus arena for the second consecutive year. Approved by the league's athletic directors at the recent BIG EAST summer meeting, the Golden Eagles will welcome all 10 BIG EAST teams to the Al McGuire Center, which is located in the heart of Marquette's Milwaukee campus. The BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 4-7, 2017.
Villanova Women's Basketball Banquet Set for Sunday, May 1
The Villanova Women’s Basketball Banquet will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016. The banquet will take place in the Villanova Room of the Connelly Center. Reception begins at 4:00 pm with a sit-down dinner at 4:45 pm.
Several Villanovans to Have a Part in Final Four Festivities in Houston
The festivities surrounding the Final Four in Houston this weekend will extend to many Villanovans beyond the student-athletes on the men's basketball team. Among the others who will be participating in events at NRG Stadium are women's basketball player Karlie Crispin and the commentating team of Scott Graham, Brian Finneran and Kacie McDonnell.
Caroline Coyer Named Big Five Player of the Year
Villanova senior guard Caroline Coyer (Oak Hill, Va.) has been named the Big Five Player of the Year for the second straight season, while sophomore guard Alex Louin (Doylestown, Pa.) earned a spot on the second team and freshman guard Adrianna Hahn (Wilmington, Del.) garnered Rookie of the Year honors.
Villanova Falls in WNIT Second Round to Hofstra
The Villanova Wildcats saw their season come to an end on Saturday evening with an 82-74 loss to the Hofstra Pride in the second round of the WNIT. With the loss, Villanova finishes the year with a 20-12 record. Hofstra improves to 24-8 with tonight’s victory.
