For her play in two Villanova wins last week, freshman guard Trish Juhline was named Big East Co-Rookie of the Week. Juhline shares the honor with Notre Dame freshman Alicia Ratay. Juhline and Ratay will play one another on Wednesday, Feb. 16, when No. 5 Notre Dame visits Villanova at The Pavilion. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

In wins over West Virginia and No. 18 Boston College, Juhline averaged 16.5 ppg., 8.5 rpg., and 4.0 apg. In addition, she committed just one turnover in 79 minutes of play. In a 62-50 win at West Virginia on Wednesday, Feb. 9, Juhline tallied her first career double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds to go with five assists, three blocks and a steal. In Villanova's 60-59 upset win over No. 18 Boston College, Juhline scored 15 points on five three-point field goals.

Juhline currently leads all Big East freshmen and is fifth overall for scoring in conference games with a 15.5 ppg. average. For all games, the Havertown, Pa., native is averaging 14.0 ppg., 4.7 rpg., and 2.8 apg. Juhline also leads the Wildcats in three-point field goals made with 48.
