Wildcats Host Marquette on Sunday at 2 p.m.

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Wildcats will play host to the Marquette Golden Eagles on Sunday, Feb. 10. Villanova enters play with a 16-6 overall record and a 5-4 mark in Big East play, while Marquette is 11-11 overall and 3-6 in league action. Tip-off at is set for 2 p.m. For the first time in three years, Villanova will play Marquette at home in The Pavilion. Due to a scheduling change, the Wildcats have played the last two seasons in Milwaukee. Marquette is 2-1 all-time in games played at Villanova. The Golden Eagles have won four in a row against Villanova.

Marquette sophomore guard Katie Young hit a 40 foot shot at the buzzer to defeat the Villanova Wildcats by a score 51-50 in women's basketball action on Tuesday, Jan. 10. With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 11-6 overall and 2-2 in Big East play, while Villanova falls to 11-5 overall and 2-2 in conference action.
