Women's Basketball Travels to Rutgers for Saturday Matchup

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova will play at Rutgers on Saturday, Feb. 2, in a key Big East game. The Wildcats enter play with a 16-4 overall record and 5-2 mark in Big East play, while the Scarlet Knights are 12-8 overall and 3-4 in league action. Tip-off at is set for 2 p.m. The teams will be meeting for the 34th time on Saturday afternoon. Rutgers currently leads the series by a 25-8 count. The Scarlet Knights have dominated the series of late. Entering play on Saturday, Rutgers has won 10 straight over the Wildcats. Villanova's last win in the series came on Jan. 9, 2004, by a score of 53-49.
