VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Wildcats return home for the first time in 19 days when they play host to DePaul in a Big East battle on Wednesday, Jan. 9. Villanova enters play 11-2 overall and 1-0 in Big East play, while the Blue Demons are 12-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
DePaul has had the upper hand against Villanova through the years. Entering play on Wednesday evening, DePaul leads the all-time series by a 7-1 count. Villanova's only win over DePaul came on Feb. 14, 2009, when the Wildcats tallied a 50-46 victory.

Villanova is coming off its fifth game this season with single digit turnovers. In Sunday's win over Cincinnati, the Wildcats were charged with nine turnovers. This is the third time in the last four games that Villanova has had a single digit turnover game. Entering play against DePaul, Villanova leads the country in fewest turnovers per game at 11.0.
The Wildcats are led by Sweeney who leads the team in scoring (12.3 ppg.), rebounding (5.5 rpg.), field goal percentage (.580), steals (31) and blocks (20). Senior guard Rachel Roberts ranks second in scoring at 9.8 points per game, while freshman Caroline Coyer has a team-best 39 assists.
