Juhline Named to Philadelphia Big Five 2013 Hall of Fame Induction Class

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Philadelphia Big Five today announced the 2013 Hall of Fame induction class. This year's five member class includes former Villanova standout Trish Juhline who becomes the 14th Wildcat women's basketball player to join the Big Five Hall of Fame. Joining Juhline as part of the Hall of Fame class will be Marvin O'Connor (Saint Joseph's), Jen Ricco (Temple), Angela Zampella (Saint Joseph's) and media member Phil Jasner.

Juhline played at Villanova from 1999-2003 and helped the Wildcats to an 85-41 record, three NCAA Tournament berths, a Big East championship and an Elite Eight appearance.

She currently ranks third all-time at Villanova in scoring with 1,659 points and 11th in assists with 385. Juhline also owns the school record for three-point field goals made in a career with 275.

During her illustrious career, she was a two-time first team All-Big East performer, becoming just the third player in program history to earn first team All-League honors more than once. She was also a two-time first team All-Big Five selection, in addition to earning both Big Five Rookie of the Year (1999-2000) and Player of the Year (2002-03) accolades.

As a senior in 2002-03, Juhline averaged 17.6 points per game, 4.3 assists per contest, 3.4 rebounds per contest and 1.5 steals per game, while connecting on 83 three-point field goals. In addition, she scored 20+ points on 12 occasions during her senior campaign. Following her senior season, Juhline was drafted in the third round of the 2003 WNBA Draft by the Washington Mystics.
