MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Olayinka Sanni scored 21 points to lead No. 13 West Virginia to a 76-55 win over Villanova on Saturday.

West Virginia (22-4, 11-2 Big East) scored 22 of the game's first 24 points and never allowed Villanova to get close after that.

Liz Repella added a career-high 13 points off the bench for West Virginia. Meg Bulger scored 12 and Chakia Cole had 11 points. Bulger hit four of five 3-pointers in her first start since returning from a midseason knee injury. She replaced LaQuita Owens, who was indefinitely suspended Friday for a violation of team rules.

Laura Kurz and Maria Getty had 11 points each for Villanova (15-12, 5-9), which is 0-6 against ranked teams this season.

After making a season-high 13 3-pointers in a blowout win over Cincinnati on Tuesday, West Virginia went inside on the smaller Villanova lineup.

Sanni made three early inside baskets and Villanova surrendered 38 points in the paint. The Wildcats, the Big East's leader in fewest turnovers, committed 14.

Kurz and Lisa Karic, the conference's top 3-point shooter, combined to miss all 10 of their shots from behind the arc.
