Shanette Lee enters her 14th year as an assistant coach for the Wildcats in 2012-13. Besides her on-court coaching and tape exchange duties, Lee also spends her time speaking at different events in the Villanova area. She is also very instrumental in Villanova's summer basketball camp.
Lee is very familiar with Villanova basketball, as she was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Harry Perretta and the Wildcats from 1995-99. In her senior season in 1998-99, Lee became the all-time assist leader in the history of the program, finishing her career with 526. She also rates 18th all-time on the Villanova rebounding list with 469. As a freshman in 1995-96, she was named Philadelphia Big Five Rookie of the Year.
