Returning to Villanova for her first season as an assistant coach is former Wildcat star Trish Juhline. Since graduating from Villanova, Juhline spent the last four years at Drexel University, where she was first a graduate assistant and then the Director of Basketball Operations before becoming a full-time assistant coach last season.
Juhline is one of the most decorated players in the program's history. She currently ranks third all-time in scoring with 1,659 points and 11th in assists with 385. She also holds the school record for career three-point field goals with 275. During her four-year Villanova career, she helped the Wildcats to an 85-41 mark, three NCAA Tournament appearances, a Big East Championship and an Elite Eight appearance. Juhline was a two-time All-Big East first team selection and in 2003 she garnered CoSIDA District II Academic All-American acclaim. Also, in 2003, she won the Big East scoring title by averaging 19.2 points per game.
Juhline graduated from Villanova in 2003 with a degree in Communications. She is currently pursuing a Nursing degree from Villanova.
