The PAWS Program (Providing Athletes with Support) is dedicated to the overall development of Villanova's student athletes. One aspect of the mission is to provide student athletes with experience for life after college. The business etiquette dinner is offered to the senior class in preparation for the interview process.
Often, today's interview process includes a lunch or dinner with prospective employers. Many student athletes who have experienced this situation report that they were unsure of the proper etiquette.
For this reason, the University will host a four-course dinner and the speaker will address the do's and don'ts of dining, including such issues as silverware use, buffet and banquet etiquette and the proper way to pass items around the table. The presentation is interactive and participants are encouraged to ask questions.
This year's event will take place on Oct. 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Villanova Room of the Connelly Center. Seniors are asked to arrive on time and dress as they would for an interview. The evening is enjoyable and valuable for everyone involved, regardless of post-graduation plans, so get ready to eat!
