VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova is set to host the second running of the Jack Pyrah Invitational on Sunday December 5th at Haverford College. The track meet honors longtime Villanova Track Coach Jack Pyrah, who has been associated with the Villanova Track and Field program since the1960's. There will be a presentation made to Coach Pyrah at 11:45am.

The meet will be held at the Haverford College indoor facility, located off Lancaster Avenue two miles from the Villanova campus. Entry into the meet is by invitation with the following schools scheduled to participate: University of Delaware, Temple University, La Salle University, Haverford College, Swarthmore College, Widener University, Cabrini College, Franklin & Marshall, and Villanova.

The meet will begin at 10:00am with the weight throw to be conducted in the Butler Annex at Villanova. The running events will begin with the women's 3000m at 12:00pm. An order of events is listed below.
