VILLANOVA, Pa. - U.S. Olympic Trials Results

Bobby Curtis and Frances Koons are set to compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., beginning Friday. Curtis is entered in the 5,000m, while Koons will race the 1,500m.

Curtis is coming off a national championship title in the 5,000m. He ran a personal best 13:33.93 on June 13 in Des Moines, Iowa. He enters the Trials ranked 15th in the event and he is the top collegiate competing. The preliminaries for the 5,000 begin at 11:40 p.m. ET on Friday, June 27. The finals for the event will take place on Monday, June 30 at 12:40 a.m. ET.

Koons also competed in the national championships in Des Moines, but ran the 5,000m. She heads to Eugene to run the 1,500m, in which she was BIG EAST Champion in May. Koons is ranked 18th in the event, and is the fourth best collegiate running. Koons will begin the quarterfinals on Thursday, July 3 at 10:40 p.m. ET. The semifinals will take place Friday, July 4 at 11:25 p.m. ET, while the finals are set for Sunday, July 6 at 7:05 p.m. ET.
