Philadelphia, Pa. - Senior Milos Mitric (Krusevac, Yugoslavia) ran a personal best in the 10,000m yesterday at Franklin Field on the first day of the 111th Penn Relays.

Mitric placed eighth in the 10,000m yesterday evening with a time of 29:53.05, beating his previous record of 29:55.

Junior Robert McDade (Broomall, Pa.) competed in the discus throw this afternoon and finished seventh with a throw of 54.20m (177'9"). Texas's Brian Robison won the event with a distance of 59.60 (195'6").

Sophomore Patrick Gazzini (Katonah, N.Y.) ran in the 400m hurdles for Villanova this morning. He placed 22nd with a time 52.73.

Villanova returns to the track today, running the DMR at 3:50 p.m. and the 4x400m relay at 4:45 p.m.
