VILLANOVA, Pa. - The men's track and field squad is set to compete Saturday night at The Armory Track and Field Center for the NYRR College Saturday Night at The Armory.

The Wildcats will look to add additional BIG EAST qualifiers in their second meet since returning from winter break.

Competition will include squads from Columbia, Fordham, Lafayette College, Manhattan College, St. John's, Temple, The United States Military Academy, Connecticut and UMBC.

At the Penn State Relays last weekend the Wildcats had BIG EAST conference qualifiers from Chris Kearney, Stefan Goodridge and Nicoy Hines.

Kearney ran within a second of his fastest time in the 500m. Goodridge and Hines earned qualifying marks in the 60m hurdles and finished second and third respectively.

"Last weekend was a warm-up meet for us," head coach Marcus O'Sullivan said. "This weekend will still be a bit of a warm-up, but we will have a few more guys racing. We're looking at getting more BIG EAST qualifiers and will really kick off the season the following weekend."

The first men's track event is the men's 60m hurdles at 6:39 p.m.
