PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Elbert Maxwell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) registered his second career mark of at least 7.50 meters and came in first in the long jump in the Princeton Elite Meet at Weaver Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Villanova concluded competition at the nearby meet with entries in three field events.

Maxwell led a field of nine athletes in the long jump with a mark of 7.50 meters. It was the second time in his career - with both occasions coming during the current outdoor season - that Maxwell reached 7.50 meters. His current personal best of 7.51 meters was set at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational last month.
