** Villanova won three BIG EAST titles in the span of approximately one hour on Saturday night. The men's and women's indoor track & field teams and the women's swimming & diving team each captured conference crowns. The track & field championships meet ended just before 9 p.m. and the swimming & diving championships concluded very soon after.
** Villanova has won 85 conference team titles in its history, including four during the 2013-14 academic year. The first for the current year was men's cross country during the fall. This is the first time since the 1992-93 academic year that Villanova has won at least four conference team titles in the same year; it is the 10th time overall with four or more conference champions in one academic year.
** Men's indoor track & field won its fourth BIG EAST title. The three previous championships came in 1983, 1985 and 1986. In each of the four years that men's indoor track & field has been BIG EAST champions the women's indoor track & field team has also won the conference title.
** Villanova's team score is the highest in the 35-year history of the conference meet. The winning margin for the Wildcats over runner-up Georgetown marks only the ninth time in meet history that there has been a margin of greater than 30 points between the top two teams.
** Head coach Marcus O'Sullivan has coached 93 indoor track & field BIG EAST champions.
