Indoor season starts on a successful note at local meet

On Stillings: Gained good experience last season and will look to continue developing in the coming year ... Will work to earn a spot in the team's sprint lineup during meets.

2012 Outdoor: Ran the 400 meters at four meets during the season ... Top time of the season was 51.97 in a 21st place finish at the Delaware Open ... Opened the season at the Big Five Invite and came in 14th in 52.17 ... Finished in 17th place (52.54) at the Danny Curran Invitational and came in 20th at the Widener Invitational (52.31).

2012 Indoor: Competed in the 300 meters at the season-opening Jack Pyrah Invitational and came in 20th place with a time of 38.25 ... Ran the 400 meters in a time of 53.46 at the NYC Gotham Cup, placing 71st overall.

Don Bosco Prep: Earned varsity letters in cross country and indoor and outdoor track ... Earned all-county honorable mention accolades in 2009 ... Recipient of the Ironmen Award in 2010-11 ... Member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society ... Was an Advanced French bronze medalist.

Personal: Born 9/3/93 in Ridgewood, N.J. ... Older of two sons of David Stillings and Diane Ciaramella ... Has a younger brother, Ryan (15) ... Has yet to declare a major.
