A 2003 graduate of Villanova University, Adrian Blincoe returns for a third season in an assistant coaching role in 2008-09. While a runner for the Wildcats, Blincoe captured three NCAA titles and seven All-American honors. He holds the school record in the indoor 3000m and was a member of the school record indoor distance medley team. Blincoe currently competes internationally and was a world outdoor championships semi-finalist in the 1500m in 2003 and 2005. He has personal bests of 3:35.50 in the 1500 meters, 7:46.40 in the 3000 meters and 13:17.28 in the 5000 meters. Most recently, Blincoe qualified for the 2008 Olympics in the 5000m. |
