HAMDEN, Conn. - Fresh off five championships at the Saint Joseph's Invitational, the Villanova men's tennis team will return to the courts to conclude its fall tournament schedule when its travels to Hamden, Conn. for the three day Quinnipiac Invitational which begins at 3 p.m. Action on Saturday and Sunday will start at 9 a.m.

The Wildcats will battle against players from UConn, Sacred Heart, Bryant, Hartford Bentley, Fairfield and host Quinnipiac at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts on Mount Carmel Campus.

Freshman Luis Miranda won his first career tournament championship two weeks ago in the Singles Flight IV Draw on the SJU Tennis Complex courts in only his second event in his brief stint at Villanova.

The dynamic duo of Thomas O'Brien and Kelly Donaldson eased their way to its second championship in consecutive weeks after breezing past the competition in both the SJU and Villanova Invitational.
