Millersville, Pa.--On Tuesday, Sept. 18, the Men's Tennis team traveled to Millersville, Pa. where they picked up their first victory of the season defeating Millersville University with a final score, 5-2. The win is the 'Cats first of the season giving them a record of 1-0 on the year.

Five different Wildcats were victorious in singles play led by senior captain A.J. Rohde and junior Ryan Devine. Rohde defeated Igor Petrozovic at No. 2 singles in three games dropping the first set, 4-6, only to come back to win the next two with scores of 7-6 and 6-4. Devine, playing No. 3 singles, knocked off his Millersville opponent in three sets, 6-4, 1-6 and 6-2. Other Wildcats picking up victories included Andy Herron, Aaron Kusza and John Toppel.

In doubles action, Millersville took all three matches from the Wildcats. Millersville was led by junior Keith Mahaffey and senior Igor Petrozours who teamed up for No. 1 doubles to defeat Villanova's Brad Adams and Ryan Devine.

The Wildcats will return to action on Sat. and Sun., Sept. 22 and 23 when they travel to Haverford, Pa. to take part in the Haverford Tournament.
