Adams, Kusza Lead Wildcats at Bloomsburg Invitational

Bloomsburg, Pa. --- Senior Brad Adams took home his first victory of the season at the top singles spot and sophomore Aaron Kusza continued his winning ways as the duo led Villanova on the second day of the Bloomsburg Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 8. Adams' victory came over Ty Esler at the No. 1 singles spot (6-2, 1-6, (10-8) while Kusza won his second victory of the season in straight sets.

Freshman Carl Fenzl also notched a victory of his own at sixth singles in straight sets while Justin Goulet stayed undefeated on the season with a win over Andrew Shapiro.

In doubles play, senior Ryan Devine and junior John Toppel beat their opponents 8-6 while junior Ricardo Baraldi teammed up with Andy O'Neill for an identical score win.

The Wildcats will get back into action next weekend when they travel to Towson, Md. to take part in the Towson Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15.
